The Opportunity
We’re looking for a technically minded professional to join our Melbourne based team in our customer service team.
Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, you will:
* Prepare accurate quotations and process customer orders involving technical components (valves, fittings, regulators, etc.)
* Provide first-line technical support and product selection guidance to customers
* Record detailed communication notes using SAP and Zendesk
* Manage enquiries and resolve first level technical customer issues with a focus on problem-solving
* Develop strong technical relationships with customers across Australia and New Zealand
* Collaborate with our Sales. Engineering and Field Service teams as part of a cross functional technical support structure

What Are We Looking For?
* Mechanical aptitude or technical background in any industry
* Prior experience in internal sales/customer service
* Strong technical problem-solving skills
* High attention to detail in data entry and documentation
* Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems is a plus
* Strong communication skills and a team-based approach
