We are looking for Registered Nurse to work in the General Medical Ward in Mackay, Queensland.
Dates: 7th July to 14th September
Key Requirements
- Must be fully trained and proficient in Queensland Health's ieMR system
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in a similar setting
- Current clinical currency relevant to the role
Desirable
- Previous experience working within Queensland Health or Mackay HHS
- Familiarity with rural or regional healthcare settings
Mandatory Competencies:
• BLS competency
• Manual and patient handling
• Infection control
• Aggressive behaviour management
• Mandatory reporting by Registered Nurses, and/or Midwifes for reasonable suspicions of child abuse and neglect
• Medications management including QPHS (Drugs and Poisons) Regulations November 2012
