Optus is seeking a strategic and commercially minded Consulting Architect to develop compelling solutions for enterprise customers. This pivotal role combines technical, commercial, and delivery considerations to drive profitable end-to-end solutions.
The successful candidate will act as a bridge between Sales, Delivery, and Operations teams, ensuring solutions meet business objectives and governance requirements. You will be a trusted advisor, building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external clients, representing Optus' full suite of solutions.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead holistic solution designs and business cases by integrating inputs from Solution Designers and Architects.
* Provide commercial insights into technical solutions to ensure business viability and compliance with governance standards.
* Act as the technical authority for designated accounts, guiding sales and delivery teams through the solution lifecycle.
* Collaborate closely with Sales to articulate the customer value proposition, leveraging ROI modelling and tailored consultations.
* Maintain deep, strategic engagement with key customer stakeholders to drive solution adoption and long-term relationships.
Requirements
* Demonstrated experience in technical solution design within Telco or IT services environments.
* Tertiary qualifications in IT, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent industry certifications.
* Strong understanding of enterprise-wide ICT and telecommunications system architecture and service management frameworks.
* Proven ability to influence and engage across Sales, Delivery, and Operations teams.
* Eligibility for or possession of Baseline and Negative Vetting 1 security clearances.
* Subject Matter Expertise in multiple Telco/ICT domains such as SD-WAN, Mobility, IoT, CX/EX, Core Telco, or Cybersecurity.
