INTERNAL AUDITOR for LOTUS CARS
We are Simply Sports Cars and we are the Australian specialist for Lotus Cars. We are involved with car importation, sales, parts, services, and events with our Lotus customers through NSW and Victoria, as well as supporting our dealership network throughout Australia.
We are the Australian representative, importer and distributor for Lotus Cars in the UK and China. As our relationship with Lotus Cars has grown, the reporting and financial processes have grown, and we are now in need for an internal auditor with experience in the automotive industry.
Key activities of the role include:
· Preparing financial statements and reports for management
· Evaluate and manage financial processes, and its effectiveness
· Review internal processes and controls, reporting any compliance issues identified to senior management
· Work with management on identifying potential budget difficulties, recommend corrective actions, and support remediation efforts
· Ensure financial integrity and compliance with Lotus systems
We are looking for someone with:
· Qualifications in Financial Accounting or higher
· Minimum 3-years' experience in financial accounting
· Minimum 2-years' experience in the automotive industry
· Strong attention to detail
· Organised and methodical approach to resolving issues
· Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
· Strong computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook
· Confident to work autonomously, managing a diverse and changing workload, as well as work in a team environment
· Desire to work in the automotive industry
· Be well presented
· Positive attitude
Training with the reporting and financial systems will be given, and previous experience in other software will help.
