This is your chance to play a key role in one of NQPHN's most significant organisational uplift projects.

The role

Project Diamond brings together multiple interdependent workstreams across finance, budgeting and planning, contracts and procurement, HRIS and payroll, governance and risk, CRM-based funding schedules, data and analytics, and Azure-based integration.

As our Project Support Officer, you'll help keep this complex program moving by coordinating activities, supporting procurement, managing documentation, and ensuring effective communication across teams and vendors.

You'll be part of a collaborative, Microsoft first architecture committed to modernising systems and improving the way we work.

What you'll do

In this role, you will:

* Manage project administration, including monitoring communications and maintaining organised, secure project records.
* Assist with scheduling and preparing workshops, meetings, and documentation.
* Provide secretariat support, including agendas, minutes, and action tracking.
* Liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
* Assist with procurement processes such as RFQs and evaluation documentation.
* Support system requirements gathering, assessments, CRM entries, and basic reporting.
* Contribute to governance reporting, risk tracking, and dependencies.

If you are looking for the opportunity to be part of a passionate and driven team and contribute to achieving our vision of 'A healthy future for all northern Queenslanders,' we'd love to hear from you.

NQPHN aims to be an employer of choice for Indigenous Australians, and we encourage Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to apply for this role.

Key selection criteria

* At least 3 years' experience in an administration or coordination role.
* Strong organisational and problem‑solving skills.
* Effective communication skills (written and verbal), including conflict resolution.
* Ability to work respectfully with diverse communities, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and Australian South Sea Islanders.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Desirable

* Experience supporting the delivery of system transformation projects.
* Awareness or application of change management frameworks.
