What will be your role?
We are seeking a highly experienced and enthusiastic Mechanical Fitter on a Fulltime basis. The role is mainly involved repairing, inspecting and maintaining the company's extrusion lines within our maintenance department. You will be joining a tight knit highly skilled team who value workmanship, and a well-established Polyethylene Pipe manufacturer.
Key tasks and responsibilities
* Routine inspection and testing mechanical systems
* Executing preventative maintenance plans and breakdown maintenance
* Planning, scheduling and completion of maintenance tasks
* Participating in Safety, Quality and Continuous Improvement activities to enhance workplace
* Quoting parts and repairs in preparation for purchase
To be considered you must meet the following criteria:
* Mechanical Fitter Trade Certificate
* Industrial diagnostic and fault finding experience
* Understanding of Safety systems and processes including Risk Assessments, incident reporting and planned inspections
* Previous experience in a manufacturing workplace desirable
* Flexible, punctual & motivated
* High Risk Work License: Forklift (EWP & Confined Spaces desirable)
