Our client, a Federal Government department based in Greenway, ACT, that supports the delivery of Government priorities, requires the services of a Lead Design and Delivery Specialist for a 1-month contract.
Duties of the Lead Design and Delivery Specialist:
Design & Early‐Stage Delivery Planning
* Supporting early-stage ERP design activities to clarify scope, objectives, delivery approaches and dependencies.
* Translating business and technical requirements into coherent, investable ERP initiatives and associated funding needs.
* Supporting the definition of delivery phasing, milestones, resourcing and implementation approaches.
* Identifying interdependencies between ERP initiatives and broader digital and business transformation activities.
Investment Planning & Government Engagement Support
* Supporting DSS's approach to Government for ERP funding through robust design artefacts and evidence.
* Contributing to the development and refinement of business cases, investment logic, cost estimates and benefits.
* Ensuring ERP initiatives are aligned to WoAG investment, digital and assurance requirements.
Digital Investment Plan Integration
* Supporting the integration of the ERP Modernisation Program.
* Ensuring alignment between ERP initiative and other portfolio priorities, sequencing and funding profiles.
* Supporting prioritisation, trade off analysis and investment optimisation across the digital portfolio.
* Contributing to portfolio level views of risk, capacity, affordability and delivery confidence.
Skills and Experience - Lead Design and Delivery Specialist:
* Significant experience in large‐scale ICT or ERP programs, with a strong focus on upfront design and investment planning.
* Demonstrated experience supporting government funding approaches, business cases or investment submissions.
* Strong capability in shaping delivery approaches, costs, dependencies and benefits for complex programs.
Technical skills
Highly Desirable: - Tertiary qualifications in finance/accounting/ICT/change management - Formal change or governance qualifications (eg Prosci, Adkar, MSP, PRINCE2) - Understanding of the DSS and Services Australia ICT managed service arrangement including general understanding of dynamic, architecture principles, relevant risks, issues and complexities.
