The Child and Family Speech Pathology position an exciting opportunity to build your clinical skills in a Level 3 position. The position is a vital member of the Coffs Harbour Child and Family Speech Pathology team. It has strong links to the Child and Family Health Nursing services and other paediatric allied health services. Services are provided across different sites including Nambucca Health One and Bowraville Health One Within the wider Nambucca Valley
What you'll be doing
In consultation with the Senior Speech Pathologist in Charge to practise and promote safe, efficient and effective paediatric Speech Pathology services that reflects current standards of Speech Pathology practices and current Mid North Coast Local Health District policies and procedures. Contribute to service development by identifying, leading and evaluating quality improvement projects and providing professional supervision and support to junior staff.
About you
Do you have Bachelor or post graduate degree in Speech Pathology or equivalent and eligibility for practicing membership of Speech Pathology Australia and demonstrated ability to apply advanced clinical reasoning and independent professional judgement when required in solving problems and managing complex paediatric communication and feeding cases.
