This large services company has an immediate requirement for a Procurement assistant to join their Balcatta based team.
Key Accountabilities to include but not limited to:
* Issue inquiries/requests for quotes to existing, approved suppliers.
* Support Team Lead with relevant information required for reporting.
* Collect and report statistics to measure supplier performance.
* Analyse current purchasing activities and recommend improvement through more efficient purchasing methods, quantity discounts, standardisation and value analysis.
* Prepare and maintain accurate records and documentation on all solicitations, responses, purchases, correspondence and follow-ups.
Skills and experience:
* Some experience in procurement or supply chain.
* Strong problem-solving skills.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Excellent verbal, non-verbal and written communication skills.
* Intermediate to advanced computing skills.
This role requires an immediate start and is based in the office 5 days a week. The hourly rate is up to $42ph + super depending on experience.
