They design, manufacture and install their work in Retail, Electronics, Telco, Food & Beverage, Grocery, Petroleum and Convenience Stores. The Role |
This newly created role is responsible for building a new portfolio of clients and the development of ongoing B2B relationships. Developing, and executing win-win outcomes for key clients will be critical for the ongoing growth and future development of this brand and the client base you manage.
1. Working closely with the General Manager and the Sydney Design Team regularly to establish a strong client base and convert a number of opportunities into active briefs.
2. Work autonomously and keep constant motivation and energy in the prospecting of new clients by networking, cold calling, advertising or other means of generating interest from potential clients.
3. Planning your weekly tasks/workload to maximise the conversions of briefs to projects.
4. Develop an honest relationship with new and existing clients and cultivate these accounts for long term growth and continually improve the business reputation through immaculate Account Management skills.
5. Strategic planning is a key part of this role as is listening to each client in order to gain understanding of their individual needs and objectives. This requires a thorough knowledge of the market as well as understanding solutions/services our company can provide.
6. Providing a sense of ‘omni-present’ Account Management for all key-clients and stakeholders across each state will be key until such times as it makes financial sense to employ a dedicated Account Executive(s) for greater returns and client support.
7. Work closely with the sales, management, accounts and the design team in a supportive and energetic environment to build your position and relationships within the company
8. Proactive and methodical adoption of Dot Design Groups processes and templates into variety of industries and diversifying DDG customer base.
The Skillset |
9. You have at least 3-5 years' demonstrated experience as a Business Development Manager or Sales Manager within an Marketing industry is preferred.
10. Ready to take on a new role and build out a desk and expand the business.
11. Pro-activeness in acquiring knowledge through courses, reading, audio and coaching
