About the Role:
Applications are sought from enthusiastic Social Work and Occupational Therapy Graduates looking to kick start their career in Mental Health at the Greater Bendigo Loddon Campaspe Mental Health and Wellbeing – The Local with Echuca Regional Health.
This exciting new Graduate position is designed to support your transition into professional practice whilst you make an impact and deliver necessary services to our local community,working within an innovative service that is aimed at transforming Mental Health and Alcohol and Other Drugs care and support for people aged 26 and over.
Key responsibilities include:
* Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary interprofessional team and other relevant stakeholders to promote and facilitate access to primary mental health care services
* Provide comprehensive and flexible therapeutic support services to people including an advanced level of assessment, brief intervention, treatment planning and evaluation.
* Support family and carer roles through understanding their concerns and the provision of information, education and referrals, especially to Mental Health and Wellbeing Connect centres
* Actively participate in mandatory meetings as required and requested
* Maintain core clinical competence specific to the area of clinical practice
Qualifications/experience required:
* Bachelor or Master Qualifications in Social Work or Occupational Therapy
* Registration (or eligible) as a Social Worker with AASW or AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist
