About The Role
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Clinical Nurse with a strong background in Respiratory and Infectious Diseases to join our Ward 31 team.
This role is ideal for a nurse who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care while developing their leadership skills in a supportive and progressive environment.
Responsibilities
As a Clinical Nurse, you will:
Lead and support a skilled team to provide safe, high-quality, evidence-based care.
Champion patient safety initiatives, particularly in infection prevention and control (IPC).
Oversee and maintain best-practice IPC standards that promote excellent clinical outcomes and a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
Mentor and develop team members, contributing to a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

About You
You are a motivated and compassionate nurse who values collaboration, excellence, and patient-centred care.
Requirements
You will bring:
Bachelor of Nursing and current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
Minimum of 3 years' experience in Respiratory or related specialties
Proven leadership, clinical judgement, and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
Commitment to maintaining high infection prevention and control standards
