The Role
An exciting opportunity exists for a traditional Banking & Finance Lawyer to join the legal team of a leading banking institution. This is a broad in-house position supporting the bank's core corporate lending and structured finance activity across infrastructure, energy, real estate and general corporate transactions.
Working closely with the front office, risk, and external counsel, you will advise on bilateral and syndicated loan arrangements, project finance, acquisition finance and cross-border transactions, while supporting governance and regulatory frameworks within a global bank structure.
Key Requirements
* 4–8 years' post-qualification experience (ideally 2 years direct banking industry experience)
* Background in private practice or in-house (ideally with exposure to institutional lending)
* Strong technical expertise in general corporate lending, leveraged finance, or project finance
* Ability to manage complex documentation and advise stakeholders across functions
* Exposure to regulatory matters in a financial institution context is highly regarded
* Commercial mindset with strong interpersonal and stakeholder skills
