The Opportunity
Due to ongoing growth, we are seeking a passionate Exercise Physiologist to join our thriving Mount Barker clinic on a full-time basis. We are also open to considering part-time working arrangements for the right candidate!
In this role you will focus on making a difference to your clients' lives. You will learn and refine communication and health change skills to connect with your clients and will improve their lives with the skills you possess.
As our valued Exercise Physiologist, you will:
* Manage and build on our large existing client base by developing a loyal caseload
* Construct and implement exercise programs
* Provide a holistic approach to client care via the identification of underlying causes of injury with a focus on optimal lifelong physical health
* Develop excellent rapport with your client and participate in marketing by educating our community
* Liaise with local GP's, Orthopaedic Surgeons, Strength and Conditioning Coaches, personal trainers and sport teams as required
* Demonstrate a commitment to improving your knowledge and clinical skills by participating in our regular Professional Development sessions
About You
The successful applicant may be early career, or an experienced clinician. Most importantly, they will be friendly, have excellent communication skills, and be a good team player who is passionate about private practice. We expect that our staff are driven in their pursuit for learning and always aspiring to achieve great clinical outcomes for our patients.
Additionally, the successful applicant will have/be:
* Degree-qualified in Exercise Physiology with full ESSA registration
* A current Working With Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check and NDIS Worker Orientation Module (or willing to obtain)
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for rapid rapport-building with clients
* Sound clinical reasoning skills
* Committed to improving their own knowledge and clinical skills
* Self-motivated, organised and have the ability to work independently and collaboratively
