**About the School**:
Gumdale State School is located at 677 New Cleveland Road, and is sited on almost seven hectares of land in a semi-rural area in the outer Brisbane metropolitan area. It caters for the Gumdale community, a mixture of acreage style and urban living, and offers unique quality education, activities and experiences which add greatly to the character of the school.
**About the Role**:
Your responsibilities will inlcude but not be limited to the following:
- Contribute to the day to day management support staff within the school/college, including identifying corporate service issues, coordinating recruitment and selection, induction and training of support staff and where necessary, provide Injury Management support for staff.
- Interpreting departmental and school policies, guidelines and ensuring legislative and procedural requirements are met.
- Assist the Principal/Executive Principal/Business Manager in identifying workforce needs including maintaining accurate records, tracking staff data, monitoring staff replacement and ensuring all relevant compliance training is valid and current.
- Assist with the daily supervision of support staff by monitoring workloads, identifying workforce skills needs, and highlighting any performance issues to the Principal/Executive Principal/Business Manager, including research of professional development opportunities for support staff.
- Under the direction Business Manager, organise and manage supply and contract placements for both teaching and support staff.
- Under the direction Business Manager, organise and manage request for quotes for school excursions and camps. Liaise with suppliers and generate accurate excursion calculators
- Assist with the day to day management of the school's varying resource schemes, generating invoices and ensuring correct documentation is received.
**Mandatory Requirements**:
- When working in regulated employment an employee must have a current Working with Children Clearance (blue card) issued by Blue Card Services.
