Responsibilities
As a Workday Integration Consultant, you should expect to play a role in integrating Workday to key external systems in the client's landscape and have the following responsibilities:
1. Work with functional leads to conduct working sessions with clients to gather, understand, and analyse business requirements.
2. Identify, assess, and solveplex business problems for integrating the Workday cloud application with external applications across a wide array of Human Capital Management and Financial functional areas, where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
3. Design, build, and support testing of Workday integration code base including Studio, EIB and supporting 3rd party coding.
4. Collaborate with client and 3rd parties to develop technical solutions that support business processes.
5. Closely follow the strategic direction set by client leadership when establishing Workday project goals.
6. Collaborate with client counterparts to deliver shared objectives (including design and build activities)
7. Responsible for timely identification and escalation of risks and development of alternative technical and functional approaches when necessary
8. Has latitude in decision-making - acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments
Your skills and Qualifications:
9. Previous Integration design and build experience in Clous SaaS environment
10. Self-starter with proven ability to work within a team-oriented environment
11. 2+ years of experience in HRIS or Finance; experience in integration development for SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, or similar applications
12. 3+ years' experience in the application of modern integration technologies (EDI, Web Services, XML, XSLT, Java, .Net, middleware)
13. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to adapt to frequent change
14. Superiormunication skills, both written and verbal
Additional preferred attributes:
15. Ability and willingness to travel within COVID guidelines
16. Workday Integration certified, preferrable with Studio certification
17. 2+ years' previous consulting experience or congruent professional experience either as an internal consultant or with a consulting/softwarepany
18. 2-5 years' experience in Workday implementations (either as a customer or an implementation partner)
