Job Opportunity
This is an exciting chance to work on complex migration projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, assess, and drive application migrations to a new infrastructure platform.
* Collaborate with domain experts to prioritize and assess applications for migration and group them accordingly.
* Assess and document the current state of applications, including server configuration, storage, integration points, criticality, user access, and more.
* Create and update current state artifacts, including logical and physical architecture diagrams, if they do not exist.
* Work closely with application teams to close gaps in the current state documentation and implementation.
* Collaborate with teams responsible for commodity compute, enterprise compute, storage, and network to define migration approaches and refine strategies.
* Provide input on migration strategies for integration and shared services.
* Design and develop target state architecture for on-premise deployments, particularly for perimeter and complex applications.
* Socialize target state architecture with application teams, solution design peers, security teams, and review boards to ensure alignment.
* Work closely with internal architecture and security teams to obtain necessary approvals (IAF, SDG) for perimeter and/or complex applications.
* Assume the technical lead role in subsequent build and migration activities, providing guidance and escalating issues where necessary.
* Lead triage and resolution of any technical issues arising during the migration process.
