Top Pay and Amazing Perks
* We're excited to offer a generous Bonus Scheme for our Full Time Bus Operators New drivers joining Torrens Transit on or after 1st January 2026 can earn a total bonus of $2,500 (inclusive of superannuation and subject to tax). You'll receive $500 after completing 6 months of active service, aligning with your backpay from provisional to permanent full rate, and an additional $2,000 after 12 months of active service. Returning drivers are also welcome, and eligible for the bonus scheme if you haven't been employed with Torrens Transit for over 12 months.
* Our current rates are awesome : $32.46/hr (Mon‑Fri), $48.70/hr (Sat), $64.93/hr (Sun), $81.17/hr (Public Holidays). Plus, access to additional roster options for even higher earnings
* Immediate starts available Permanent full-time, part-time, and casual Monday‑Friday roles (HR licence required for casual positions).
* Free uniform and paid training We'll even help you upgrade your licence from a car licence to an HR licence.

What We Need From You
We're looking for friendly, reliable individuals with strong customer service and communication skills, a clean driving record, and the ability to work various shifts. We'll support you every step of the way, providing comprehensive paid training and assistance with licence upgrades (if needed).
You'll need medical clearance, Working with Children Check, and a National Police Clearance to obtain the necessary accreditations (LP/SP) – and we can guide you in how to obtain these Most importantly, you'll share our commitment to safety and our HSEQ policies.
