About the Role :
As a Migration Data Analyst at BOQ Group, you will play a key role in delivering a smooth and high-quality customer transition to our new Digital Bank. You will be responsible for ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across the entire migration lifecycle — from planning and mapping through to execution, validation, and post migration review.
Working at the intersection of business and technology, you will act as a central liaison between product teams, business stakeholders, and technical data specialists. You will translate complex requirements into clear data rules, insights, and solutions that support a seamless migration experience and meet BOQ Group's regulatory, operational, and customer expectations.
You will collaborate closely with teams across Product, the Migration Project Team, Customer Relations, and external vendors and platform owners. Your ability to analyse data, build tools, validate outcomes, and communicate insights effectively will be critical to the success of this major transformation program within BOQ Group.
About You :
You are an experienced data professional with a strong analytical mindset and a proven ability to work across complex, fast paced environments. You bring relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience, ideally in finance, data analytics, statistics, mathematics, marketing, or communications.
With 5+ years in data focused roles—preferably within financial services— you're confident working with customer and financial data, regulatory reporting, and large scale transformation programs. You have a strong track record in reporting, visualisation, and process improvement, supported by hands-on experience with Power BI and advanced data analysis.
You are technically proficient in SQL and relational databases, with exposure to Azure, SAS, Python, R, DAX, and modern data platforms. You understand data structures, modelling, governance, and quality frameworks, and you can build tools, dashboards, and models that support both operational and strategic needs.
You excel at interpreting customer behaviour, assessing business impacts, and communicating insights clearly to technical and non technical stakeholders. You're comfortable preparing material for senior leaders and influencing outcomes across teams.
Highly organised, detail oriented, and collaborative, you manage competing priorities effectively and build strong relationships across business and technology teams.
