Senior service agreement officer

Offer description

Adhere to defined service quality standards, health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken to ensure high quality, safe services and workplaces.
Assist in the coordination, preparation and validation of complex, high-level and timely reports and correspondence on HHSs' progress and performance against service agreement key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure the services specified and funding provided are being delivered in accordance with the terms of the service agreement and funding.
Prepare timely and high-quality project/program status updates, briefs, memos, reports, presentations, and advice, as required, to ensure key stakeholders, both internal and external to HPSP, are updated.
Assist in the coordination of and provide support to performance management meetings between the Department and HHSs under the Performance and Accountability Framework, including preparatory work and activities required to support the service agreement negotiation process.
Analyse, interpret and report on HHSs' monthly performance, including assimilation of a range of data sources, detecting trends and variations from agreed activity and/or targets and verifying financial adjustments.
Assisting in service agreement amendment processes.
Assist in developing and updating documentation associated with contracting and performance management, such as the Queensland Health Performance and Accountability Framework.
Establish and maintain professional working relationships with HHS and Department of Health managers to understand critical issues in relation to the Service Agreements and facilitate appropriate responses.
Keep the Director, SAM apprised of key issues and progress of the service agreements, performance management framework, amendment processes and funded programs.
About you
We are searching for someone who:
Proven ability to analyse, interrogate, interpret and prepare reports on complex data, detect emerging trends and reconcile different data from different sources.
High level oral and written communication skills.
Advanced skills using software for data analysis and reporting (in particular MS-Excel including Power Query, MS-Visio, MS-PowerBI etc) or the ability to rapidly acquire skills in the use of such software and programs as required.
Sound knowledge of (or the ability to rapidly acquire knowledge of) strategic priorities and national/state performance requirements.
Operational experience working in a Hospital and Health Service and/or sound knowledge of the Queensland Health funding model (highly desirable).
