Our Digital, Data and Technology team is responsible for enabling the department to deliver its services through the provision and governance of information management, systems, data and technology. Their goal is to provide our workforce with the tools they need to do their jobs effectively, while making it simpler for the community to access the information they need.
Responsibilities
Build, maintain and manage GIS data and metadata definitions to support reporting for the Department
Provide mapping and analysis services including spatial data creation, data management, spatial analysis, map production and issue resolution
Apply data analysis, data modelling and quality assurance techniques to develop and maintain automated performance analysis and reporting mechanisms
Understand business requirements, work closely with business stakeholders and deliver solutions attuned to desired business outcomes
Adhere to industry best practices for software development and documentation projects
Analyse trends internally and externally to identify opportunities to enhance departmental operations

Screening Checks

National Police Checks can be applied for via the South Australia Police or through an Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission accredited body.
If the role you are applying for also requires an Employment-related Screening Check, you will be required to undergo such assessment as advised by DHS, including periodic assessment during your employment.
