Volunteering with EdConnect Australia is mightily rewarding.
EdConnect Australias volunteers help students throughout the school year in a myriad of different ways. Volunteers of all ages, and from all walks of life, bring current skills, new stories and new faces into the lives of students within the school environment, to enrich students lives, often bringing stability and a trusted confidant where it may be lacking in a young persons life. EdConnect provides the framework to match volunteers with young people in schools, who just need extra help and guidance to enhance their academic and social achievement.
EdConnects training will help prepare you for your volunteer role. EdConnects team is here to help make sure your EdConnect volunteering is rewarding, impactful and memorable. During the year, EdConnects *ConnectEd* initiatives make sure there are various events to attend, from local coffee catch-ups, on-line refresher training and workshops to more formal functions - all a great way to cross paths with like-minded people, changing lives like you, with other students in other schools.
EdConnects volunteers are principally placed within government schools we hope one of our partner schools is convenient to you.
