The Role
We are seeking an experienced family lawyer (4+ years PQE) to join our team at either Associate or Senior Associate level. Whilst the position is remote, the successful candidate must reside in or around Melbourne in order to attend Court hearings.
You will manage your own caseload, including divorce, parenting, property, financial matters, IVOs, and binding financial agreements. There is also an opportunity to mentor less experienced colleagues and contribute to business development.

About You
* Practising certificate with 4+ years PQE in family law
* Open, honest, accountable, and professional

* Strong client service and legal skills
* Commercially minded with financial and practice management experience
* Excellent communication, leadership and collaborative skills
* Provide accurate, timely advice and clear client communication
* Use initiative to progress files, prioritise effectively and run matters autonomously
* Strong legal knowledge
* Accurately time record, manage cost estimates, handle WIP, disbursements, billing and debtors
* Meet financial targets and support firm-wide financial objectives
* Build strong client and referrer relationships, identify new work opportunities, and cross-sell services
* Lead or contribute to marketing, client engagement and broader business development activities
