Job Description
The Senior Loan Recovery Officer/Loan Recovery Officer will be responsible for developing strategy to resolve NPL and LWO, developing tools for monitoring loan quality, and working with the Recovery Team, BM, DBM, and CO to collect NPL.
Reports to
Deputy Manager, Loan Recovery
Responsibilities
* Provide legal consulting to BM, DBM, and CO.
* Develop strategy for bad loan collection.
* Control weekly portfolio quality in each branch.
* Prepare complaints to authorities on overdue loan clients.
* Issue reminding letters on payment overdue and submit to clients.
* File suits to court and monitor the court proceedings.
* Cooperate with BM, DBM, and CO to manage loan quality and collect NPL.
* Produce weekly and monthly collection reports of NPL, WO trend, and achievement.
* Develop and update tools to monitor NPL & WO management in branches and head office.
* Identify root causes of NPL and develop recovery strategies.
* Complete other tasks assigned by line manager and management.
Job Qualifications
* Bachelor degree in Law or related fields.
* At least two‐year experience in loan recovery.
* Knowledge of MFI or Banking Sector is a must.
* Self‐motivated, flexible and proactive.
* Strong problem‐solving and negotiation skills at all levels.
* Good interpersonal and communication skills.
* Good attitude and teamwork spirit.
* Strong commitment to work under pressure and willingness to travel to provinces frequently.
* Good English writing and speaking skills.
* Proficient computer skills (MS Office, e‐mail/internet).
