THE ROLE:

We're on the lookout for a Regional Sales Manager to lead our sales operations across an assigned region. You'll take ownership of regional performance, guide and support a team of Area Managers, and play a key role in executing Kincrome's national sales strategy at a local level.
You don't need to come from the tools or hardware industry — what matters most is your sales leadership experience, commercial mindset, and ability to bring people along the journey.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Manage and lead the regional sales team to achieve budget revenue and growth targets
· Develop and implement regional sales plans aligned with national sales strategies
· Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors and retail partners
· Conduct regular field visits with Area Mangers to coach, mentor and support performance
· Identify new business opportunities and develop strategic initiatives to expand market presence
· Monitor regional sales performance, trends and competitor activity, providing insights and recommendations to senior management
· Support effective execution of promotional programs, product launches and merchandising initiatives
· Ensure CRM and reporting systems are accurately maintained by the Area Managers
· Conduct regular team meetings, sales reviews and development discussions
· Support the recruitment, onboarding and ongoing training of Area Managers
· Collaborate with marketing, product, demand and customer service teams to support customer engagement and operational execution
· Oversee customer issue resolution, credit matters and service related escalations
· Ensure Area Managers maintain high standards of store presentation, Point of Sales Compliance and brand representation
· Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts, budgets and reporting
· Ensure compliance with Kincrome's OH&S and field safety guidelines
PRE-REQUITIES/QUALIFICATIONS
Experience & Skills
· Proven experience in sales leadership or management roles
· Demonstrated success in achieving revenue and growth targets
· Strong understanding of account management, sales processes and market development
· Experience in leading, coaching and developing sales teams
· Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills
· Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
· Proficient in MS Word, Excel, CRM systems and sales reporting tools
· Ability to manage competing priorities and work autonomously in the field
· Current drivers licence and willingness to travel regularly within the region
