Project Manager
Our client is a leading global business communication provider. They are looking for an experienced customer facing Project Manager to work with mission-critical customers ensuring they receive premium-level service.
The ideal candidate will drive a high performance culture into all the resources and be responsible for the overall delivery of projects that are medium sized and represent significant benefit and/or risk to our customers throughout the lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
* Act as a customer champion, establishing customer needs and using operational and technical expertise to deliver brilliant experiences by resolving customer issues and delivering quality and timeliness.
* Understanding the customer business context and the impacts the project has on successful business outcomes.
* Accountable for leading the end-to-end planning and delivery of projects.
* Building and maintaining strong and proactive customer service relationships across 'owned' contracts for project delivery.
* Supporting and mentoring Project Management Professionals assigned to the project to upskill knowledge and experience.
* Managing escalations and work allocation, coordinating and managing work packages of Project Management Professionals.
Requirements:
* Solid years of project management experience within networking/infrastructure projects is a must.
* Relevant Project/Programme Management Certification - Prince2, APMP, ITIL qualification, Risk Management Qualification or 6 Sigma.
* Prior experience working with global enterprise customers and clients managing end-to-end project delivery.
* Significant experience of leading and delivering complex projects, requiring management of varying timeframes.
* A high degree of business, customer management and commercial acumen.
* Understanding and experience of ITIL Functions.
* Experience in delivering Cisco ISE and Cisco Networking projects/infra projects.
* Experience with Cloud, AWS and Azure projects.
* Solid stakeholder management skills with the ability to connect with stakeholders and be seen as a Collaborative Partner, Solution Focused Achiever, Customer Champion and a Team Coach.
* Strong written and verbal communication.
