**How will I help?** 
The role is primarily responsible for the credit risk approval and management of a portfolio of WIB Corporate clients, including new to bank and acquisition finance related transactions. 
You will be a key member of the wider Consumer and Industrial Credit team, responsible for a diverse portfolio of corporate clients. 
Some of your responsibilities will include: 
- Demonstrate prudent and explicit judgment in the assessment and management of the credit risks within the business, including the early recognition of problem loans and implementation of remediation plans. 
- Build deep and sustainable relationships with key stakeholders 
- Adopt a continuous improvement approach to the Systems, Process and Policy to support safe and sustainable management of Credit Risk 
- Contribute to the strategic positioning of WIB to ensure that credit strategies and appetite are appropriately aligned with business units’ objectives. 
- Contribute to the development of a sound credit culture within the business. 
- Work closely with the business to optimise risk utilisation and maximise returns to the bank from the defined / available risk appetite.

**What do I need?** 
- Ability to act independently, think innovatively, solve problems and exhibit a collaborative growth mindset. 
- At least 7 years experience in a credit approving roles. 
- 7-10 years experience with Institutional Corporate customers and products. 
- Superior communication skills, excellent negotiating and influencing skills and a commercial mindset to appropriately balance risk and return objectives. 
- Practical knowledge of legal documentation. 
- A business degree or post graduate finance qualification
