**What is this position about?**
The Operation Specialist position is an opportunity to work and discover the full spectrum of the CIB operations.
The role will comprise of two key dimensions:
1) Operation Support
Over time, and based on the needs, the Operations Specialist may be required to support day to day activities and provide backup to the following teams within CIB Operations. Further details are listed under Key Responsibilities.
- Cash Management and Loans
- Trade Finance, Supply Chain and Guarantees
- Global Markets
This may include either officer or supervisor roles.
2) Management and Project Management Support
In addition to assisting the various Operations teams with day to day duties, the role also consists of tasks related to management functions or projects/non day to day activities. In summary they include;
- Management Support
- Project Management
- Application Testing
- Administration and Regulatory Reporting
- Ad-Hoc Duties
**What would be your typical day at BNPP Paribas look like?**
Following duties have been listed per team, whereby the Operation Specialist may assist any team.
**Cash Management & Loans**
- Assist with daily payment processing
- Daily funding and payment returns/dishonours
- Monitor payment flows
- Help team perform daily reconciliations
- Assist if and when required for daily loans and guarantee processing
- Backup duties ( staff leave and absences )
**Trade Finance, Supply Chain & Guarantees**
- Assist if and when required for Trade Finance, Supply Chain and Guarantees processing
- Help team perform daily reconciliations
- Backup duties ( staff leave and absences )
**Global Markets**
- Assist if and when required the Global Markets Team ( products include Foreign Exchange, Bonds and Repo’s and Deposits )
- Help team perform daily reconciliations
- Backup duties ( staff leave and absences )
**Project Management, Controls & Regulatory Reporting**
- Assist in managing new and ongoing projects for AU operations [Change the bank]
- Support in collating and submission of Regulatory reporting
- Assist in Audits, Regulatory and any other business reviews
- Support manager in completion of COC conducted by OPC & ORM teams
- Complete Surveys and BCP exercises
