About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the dynamic team at Yumbar Dairy Free Ice Cream Byron Bay as a Senior Business Development Manager. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for driving new business growth and expanding the company's client base across the Northeast Coast. The role is for a self-motivated person that gets results.
What you'll be doing
* Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, using your previous experience and contact in the healthy living sector including cold calling, networking, and building relationships with potential clients
* Developing and implementing effective sales strategies to position Yumbar Byron Bay as the preferred choice for clients
* Negotiating and closing deals, ensuring the successful onboarding of new clients
* Maintaining and nurturing existing client relationships to drive repeat business and maximise customer lifetime value
* Collaborating closely with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and content to support the sales process
* Providing regular sales activity reports and forecasts to the management team
* Contributing to the overall growth and strategic direction of the company
What we're looking for
* Minimum 3 years of experience in a senior business development or sales role, preferably within the sales industry
* Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales targets and driving new business growth
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
* Strong negotiation and closing skills, with the ability to overcome objections and secure retailers.
* Proficient in using sales and CRM tools to manage the sales pipeline and track performance
* Adaptable and resilient, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
* A team player with a collaborative mindset and a willingness to contribute to the broader success of the organisation
