Senior Payroll Officer | North Sydney/WFH | 6 Month Contract (possible extension) | Preceda | IMMEDIATE START We’re seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Officer to support BAU operations during a major payroll system transition. This is a hands-on role suited to someone confident managing large, complex payrolls while helping the team navigate change. About the Role As the business transitions systems, you’ll play a key part in maintaining payroll continuity for approximately over 4000 employees. You’ll ensure pay cycles run smoothly, data integrity is maintained, and system outputs are accurate. Key Responsibilities Manage and process end-to-end payroll across Australia and New Zealand. Maintain BAU payroll operations throughout the system implementation. Support system testing, data validation, and parallel runs. Troubleshoot payroll issues and liaise with HRIS and project teams. Ensure compliance with legislation, awards, and enterprise agreements. Provide reporting, reconciliations, and month-end support. About You 5 years’ payroll experience in large, complex environments. Strong working knowledge of Preceda and exposure to Workday highly regarded. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Able to thrive through change and manage competing priorities.
