Business Performance Officer

About The Role
As a Business Performance Officer on a 6‑month fixed term contract based at our Glen Waverley depot, you will keep our operations efficient and on track. Your role will be vital, supporting timesheet, invoice and purchase order processing, tender bids, project documentation, business improvement plans and strategic goal support. You will drive operational excellence across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
* Support purchasing, projects and tenders, and back up team members.
* Participate in Delivery Support meetings.
* Develop and deliver business improvement plans and visual management reporting aligned with strategic objectives.
* Deliver balanced scorecard KPIs and objectives.
* Recommend and implement operational process and system improvements.
* Participate in quality management activities.
* Involve and contribute to projects related to process improvements.
* Create and publish reports detailing team performance.
About You
You are a highly organised team player with exceptional communication skills and a knack for prioritising and planning. Proficient in SAP, Resource Management System (RMS) and office software, you excel at managing paperwork, records and reports. You will also possess the following skills and attributes:
* Well‑developed interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
* Previous experience using SAP is imperative.
* Confident understanding of administration and special projects in place at any one point in time.
* Demonstrated experience interfacing and dealing with work groups of more than five people.
* Experience liaising with utilities (energy, telecommunications, transport, etc).
