About the Role
Otway Optical is seeking a passionate and motivated
full-time Optometrist (4–5 days per week)
to join our established and growing practice in Colac. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a modern clinical environment with a strong focus on patient care and long-term outcomes.
Whether you're a new graduate or experienced practitioner, you'll be supported by a second full-time optometrist and a knowledgeable team of optical dispensers.

Work with Elite Athletes
Otway Optical and Eyesports are jointly owned, providing unique opportunities to work in
sports vision
. You'll assist both amateur and professional athletes with customised sports eyewear, including prescription inserts for ski goggles, cycling glasses, and more.

Key Requirements:
* AHPRA registered optometrist
* Strong clinical and communication skills
* Interest in specialty care and advanced diagnostics
* Enthusiastic about continuing professional development
* New graduates encouraged to apply
Your Key Responsibilities
* Conduct comprehensive eye examinations
* Diagnose and manage a wide range of ocular conditions
* Prescribe spectacles and contact lenses, including for complex and sports needs
* Use advanced diagnostic tools to guide patient care
* Educate patients on eye health and treatment options
