Position
We are seeking an experienced QC Manager interested in international travel to join our Federal Division which is pursuing civil infrastructure opportunities across the Indo-Pacific Region with federal clients, such as the Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC), U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), and Air Force Civil Engineer Center (AFCEC).
The QC Manager will be responsible for implementing and managing project quality control plans to ensure construction meets or exceeds all contract requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Serve as QC Manager reporting primarily to the Project Manager/Superintendent, with additional functional responsibilities to the Director of Quality Control.
* Manage client relationships while protecting company interests.
* Become familiar with all project plans and specifications.
* Develop and implement the Project Quality Control Plan to ensure contract compliance.
* Communicate QC Plan expectations and requirements with stakeholders.
* Perform quality inspections per contract requirements and the 3-phase quality system.
* Inspect in-process work to ensure contract conformance and minimize rework.
* Establish inspection protocols for off-site work.
* Manage third-party testing and inspection companies.
* Review submittals for compliance with contract specifications.
* Perform internal/external audits to ensure compliance with the QC Plan.
* Maintain RFI and Non-Conformance Registers.
* Submit quality information in daily/weekly/monthly QC Reports.
* Assist in developing QC Plans for future projects.
Requirements:
* Minimum 5+ years as a QC professional on $10M+ construction projects.
* 2-yr or 4-yr degree in construction, engineering, or related fields.
* Experience working on federal projects with DOD/USACE/NAVFAC.
* USACE CQCM certification or attain within 30 days.
* 30-hour OSHA certification or attain within 30 days.
* Proficiency with MS Office products.
* Fluent English language skills.
* Ability to pass background/security check.
* Secret or above Security Clearance.

* Occasional lifting, bending, pulling, and carrying.
