Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Test Analyst to join our team. As a Test Analyst, you will be responsible for designing and executing test cases, collaborating with the project team, and contributing to requirement traceability matrix.
You will also be required to execute functional and non-functional test cases in various phases of the project, develop test scripts, capture and analyze performance testing metrics, log defects, retest defects fix, participate in defects triage and defect resolution sessions, provide support to other team members on testing side, keep assigned Jira cards up to date, participate in various team meetings, and provide valuable inputs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design test cases for GEV ADMS upgrade and other new capabilities.
* Contribute to requirement traceability matrix to test cases.
* Execute functional and non-functional test cases in various phases of the project.
* Develop test scripts in Lua and other non-functional testing scripts (Perl/shell scripting).
* Capture and analyse performance testing metrics in required format.
* Log defects as per guidelines.
* Retest defects fix in various phases of the project.
* Participate in defects triage and defect resolution sessions.
* Provide support to other team members on testing side.
* Keep assigned Jira cards up to date in timely manner.
* Participate in various team meetings and provide valuable inputs.
* Provide testing support in hypercare.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in computer science or electrical or a related field, and 2+ years of experience as a test analyst in GEV ADMS. You should also have experience in NMS and OMS areas of ADMS, tools like simSCADA, OS - RHEL (Linux) and Windows Server, documentation collaboration tools (e.g. Confluence), Jira for tasks management, ability to contribute to test deliverable documents, good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate within the project team.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in computer science or electrical or a related field.
* 2+ years of experience as test analyst in GEV ADMS.
* Experience in NMS and OMS areas of ADMS.
* Experience in tools like simSCADA.
* Experience in OS - RHEL (Linux) and Windows Server.
