Business Analyst Position Overview


Overview

A Senior Business Analyst is needed to identify business needs, analyze systems and ensure solutions align with business goals. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders to define requirements, design solutions and implement strategies that drive efficiency and effectiveness across the organization.


Responsibilities

* Lead business analysis activities on projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
* Mentor junior business analysts, assign tasks, review work and foster team collaboration.
* Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate analysis results, insights and recommendations to relevant stakeholders.
* Provide expertise during system implementation, ensuring alignment with business processes and objectives.
* Conduct interviews, workshops and surveys to elicit detailed business requirements from stakeholders.
* Assess business needs by conducting operational analysis.
* Develop and evaluate potential solutions to address business needs, including feasibility assessments and cost-benefit analyses.
* Effectively communicate findings and recommendations to diverse stakeholders, including senior management, technical teams and end-users.


Qualifications and Experience

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business or related field (desired).
* 10+ years of experience in a Business Analyst role.
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Experience conducting requirement gathering workshops and gap analysis.
* Proficiency in developing business analysis documents using tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills to clearly articulate complex concepts to various audiences.
* Strong analytical skills, understanding of business operations, financial metrics and industry trends.
* Ability to build relationships and manage expectations with diverse stakeholders.
