About the role
Yellow Yak Garden & Property Maintenance is seeking an experienced Gardener to join our team in Port Douglas, QLD. This is a casual role offering up to 36 hours per week (npo weekend work), offering flexibility and the opportunity to work in a beautiful coastal setting while keeping fit in the outdoors.
As a Gardener, you will be responsible for maintaining the gardens and outdoor spaces of our commercial clients, ensuring they are well-manicured and presented to the highest standard.
What you'll be doing
* Undertaking regular garden maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, weeding, and pruning
* Planting and caring for a variety of garden beds, lawns, and potted plants
* Operating and maintaining gardening equipment and tools
* Providing excellent customer service and communicating with clients
* Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures
What we're looking for
* Previous experience as a Gardener or Landscaper ideal
* Strong knowledge of gardening techniques
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards
* Effective communication and customer service skills
* Physically fit and able to perform manual labour tasks
* A current driver's licence and reliable transportation
