Our client is a registered pharmacy outlet chain located in Ashmore in Queensland.
The Role
They are seeking a full-time Network Analyst to join their team in Ashmore in Queensland. This is for a full-time position at an annual salary of $80,000 to $100,000 plus superannuation.
The Responsibilities
1. Investigate and analyse network architecture to provide strategic recommendations and develop policies for enhancing the organisation's network structure.
2. Establish and refine network design standards to ensure alignment with business objectives and security protocols.
3. Analyse and interpret complex network designs, architecture models, and system diagrams to facilitate integration and configuration tasks.
4. Develop scalable network solutions that meet security, performance, and reliability requirements.
5. Assess network infrastructure to ensure efficient performance and optimal system stability.
6. Identify and implement enhancements to hardware, software, communication protocols, and system configurations.
7. Oversee the configuration and deployment of network environments to ensure stability, security, and operational readiness.
8. Manage the installation, setup, testing, and maintenance of new and upgraded networks, software applications, servers, and workstations.
9. Deliver advanced technical support to resolve complex network issues and urgent system faults.
10. Diagnose connectivity concerns promptly and escalate critical issues when required.
11. Develop customised network programming solutions to meet unique business requirements.
12. Automate repetitive network management tasks to enhance productivity and performance.
13. Create and manage comprehensive documentation for network configurations, inventory, and maintenance protocols.
14. Maintain clear records of system faults, solutions applied, and network adjustments to ensure accurate documentation.
15. Track network traffic, usage, and capacity to ensure optimal system integrity and performance.
16. Identify potential performance issues and recommend effective measures for improved system reliability.
The Requirements
1. At least a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Engineering or a closely related field is required.
2. At least 4 years of experience managing firewalls such as Palo Alto, Fortinet, or Cisco ASA.
3. Minimum 4 years of experience in network analysis, design, and support.
4. Minimum 4 years working with VPNs, remote access solutions, and secure connectivity.
5. Minimum 4 years working with cloud networking solutions such as Azure or AWS for hybrid environments.
6. Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting Cisco routers and switches at scale.
7. Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and other core networking protocols.
8. Experience with wireless technologies and access point configuration.
9. Strong understanding of SD-WAN and similar overlay network technologies.
10. Experience using AI tools for operational optimisation.
11. Familiarity with network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, or Wireshark.
12. Hands-on experience with network performance tuning and optimisation.
13. Knowledge of network security principles and best practices.
14. Experience with VLANs, subnetting, and routing protocols like OSPF and BGP.
15. Competence in supporting VoIP infrastructure and Quality of Service (QoS) configurations.
16. Experience managing large national IP networks.
