Clinical Psychologist - CAMHS Safeguards Team
We are seeking a skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) Safeguards Team. This team provides innovative care to children and adolescents aged 0-18 years experiencing acute mental health distress.
About the Role
* Provide leadership to CAMHS clinicians in delivering evidence-based best practice care to children and adolescents with mental health issues.
* Lead the development and implementation of therapeutic interventions for children and adolescents experiencing acute mental health distress.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct comprehensive assessments of children and adolescents to identify their mental health needs.
* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each child or adolescent.
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless transitions of care.
Requirements:
* Postgraduate qualification in Clinical Psychology.
* Registration as a psychologist with the relevant professional body.
* Experience working with children and adolescents in a mental health setting.
