The Role The client has an exciting array of projects and are looking for an embedded software engineer to join a growing team of product development experts. Responsibilities include; Embedded control systems software development and testing for the Green energy projects. Work in a multidisciplinary engineering project team to contribute to the successful delivery of projects. Develop software requirements, specifications and control interface documentation. Develop control systems software in a Model-based design environment with Matlab/Simulink packages. Develop test codes at component and system level testing in MIL, SIL and HIL to validate software functions and features. Support and implement quality engineering processes (System-/D-FMEA, Functional Safety etc.). Key Skills: Bachelor of Software, Computer Science, Electronics or Mechatronics Engineering. 3+ years' experience in control systems or embedded software development Experience with Matlab/Simulink highly preferable, however they will consider candidates with pure embedded microcontroller skills (C/C++) and industry experience. These include Robotics, BESS, Automotive or locomotive sectors. Must have a product development background, ideally with experience in verification and testing.
