Role
OCS Nelson is looking for a Contracts Supervisor to join their busy cleaning crew. You will be well supported, trained and busy in this role.
Base hours: Wednesday to Sunday, 40 hours per working week, 3pm to 11:30pm
Great hourly rate.
Responsibilities
* Ensure cleaning tasks are completed to high standards and on schedule
* Train new staff and provide ongoing support
* Previous experience in cleaning & supervisory roles
* Organized, reliable and proactive
* Supervise and support teams of cleaners across Nelson/Tasman area
* Supporting the Operations Manager
* Covering site when cleaning staff are absent
* Onboarding cleaners for various contracts
* Delivering Health & Safety Toolboxes to staff
* Delivering stock & equipment to staff on site, as needed
* Quality Audits as and when needed
* This is a physical, hands‐on role; you will be cleaning.
Qualifications
* Be eligible to work in New Zealand
* Applicants must reside in New Zealand
* Holding and maintaining a full NZ Driver's License is essential
* Ministry of Justice, NZ Police Clearances are required and must be clear at all times
* Have a good eye for detail and excellent leadership skills
* Be able to use your initiative and work well in a team and on your own
