Sales Representative - Roofing & Construction About the Role: We are seeking a capable and motivated Sales Representative to join a well-established roofing and construction team in Griffith, supporting a growing pipeline of work. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales, preparing accurate quotes and estimates, and managing client relationships- with a focus on commercial projects, though residential work is also undertaken. This is a hands-on, client-facing role well suited to someone with a trade background and solid understanding of construction and/or roofing processes. Key Responsibilities: Identify and develop new business opportunities in commercial roofing and construction Conduct site visits and client meetings to scope works and assess job requirements Prepare clear, detailed, and competitive quotes and estimates Read and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications Liaise with supervisors, project managers, and trades to ensure jobs are scoped correctly Manage client relationships and maintain regular communication throughout the project lifecycle Track and follow up on leads, quotes, and project timelines Maintain accurate records of quotes, proposals, and job specifications Key Skills & Experience: Demonstrated experience in sales, estimating, or quoting within construction or roofing industries Trade background in carpentry, roofing, or general construction (desirable) Sound understanding of materials, labour, and sequencing in construction projects Excellent verbal and written communication skills High attention to detail with strong numeracy and analytical abilities Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quoting software (e.g., Buildxact, Groundplan, or similar) Strong organisational and time management skills Ability to work independently while being a collaborative team player What's On Offer: Full-time position with competitive remuneration Company vehicle, phone, and tools of the trade provided Diverse workload across predominantly commercial projects, with occasional residential jobs Opportunity to play a key role in a respected and growing local business Supportive team culture with long-term prospects If you don't meet all the above requirements, but believe you have something special to bring to this role, we still want to hear from you!
