ProductionTIG Welder
Our very busy client currently requires a day shift Production TIG Welder, to carry out hand welding of production parts in accordance with plans and production schedules.
This is a full-time position between 6.00am – 2.30pm.
Immediate start available for the right candidate.
The Production TIG Welder will:
* assemble and clamp metal components into weld jigs
* cut, grind, drill and dress metal components in preparation for welding
* adjust weld settings to suit welded components
* TIG weld production components together
* inspect welded assemblies for weld quality and correct assembly and keep a record of daily operations
* maintain cleanliness of the general working area
* work as part of a team as required.
To succeed in this role you must be:
* a competent production TIG welder,
* able to use hand metal working tools,
* able to carry out repetitive tasks quickly and methodically,
* physically fit,
* a self starter,
* able to read engineering drawings,
* able to work with limited supervision,
* aware of safe work practices,
* focused on attention to detail,
* able to TIG weld
