About the Role
This hands-on role will suit an experienced electrician with a background in commercial projects, refurbishments, and site-based maintenance. The position offers variety across electrical installations, fault-finding, and fit-out works, with the opportunity to travel as required for client projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out electrical works for new fit-outs, refurbishments, and maintenance projects
* Perform electrical works for new-build tilt-up panel projects, including mains running and MSB connections
* Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in commercial settings
* Conduct electrical wiring, testing, troubleshooting, and fault-finding
* Ensure compliance with Australian Standards, safety regulations, and client requirements
* Work collaboratively with other trades, subcontractors, and project teams
* Provide practical solutions to onsite electrical challenges
* Travel to multiple sites across QLD and occasionally interstate as required
Skills and Experience
* Current QLD Electrical Licence (required)
* Minimum 4 years' experience in a similar commercial electrician role
* Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installations, and Australian Standards
* Experience with data wiring, CCTV, and alarms highly desirable (training available if required)
* White Card and PPE (essential)
* Valid driver's licence and reliable transport
* Own basic electrical tools
* Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
* Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and proactive work ethic
