Hughenden Multipurpose Health Service is an acute facility with 24-hour emergency and general medical care, with six long-stay nursing home-type beds. Hughenden is situated on the banks of the Flinders, Queensland's longest river, and approximately halfway between Townsville and Mount Isa. We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements.
* Salary range: 63,807 to $68,075 p.a. (OO2)
* 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
* 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
* Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available
About your opportunity
The Operational Service Officer Hughenden is responsible for providing efficient provision of laundry, cleaning, and catering services and maintenance services at Hughenden Multipurpose Health Service.
Requirements:
Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration
* The possession of a licence to operate (Class C) vehicle would be considered desirable but is not mandatory.
* National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Screening Check: As a Health Care worker in Queensland Health who engages in risk-assessed roles, you must hold a current disability check (Yellow Card or Yellow Card Exemption) or an NDIS worker screening check, in accordance with Part 5 of the Disability Services Act 2006 (Qld).
* This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
* Probation period may apply.
* Pre-employment checks will be conducted.
