Centre Cook
Location: Goodstart Orange – Kite Street, Orange, NSW. Employment Type: Permanent, 27.5 hours per week Monday–Friday 8:30am–2:30pm.
Pay Range: $29.94 – $33.83 per hour plus super.
Responsibilities
* Prepare meals that meet safety, nutritional and allergy requirements for children.
* Plan menus and order food supplies in consultation with the Centre Director.
* Maintain high standards of food safety, storage, handling and hygiene for all food and drinks.
Qualifications
* Essential: Food handling certificate and Current NSW Working with Children Check.
* Desirable: Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or experience cooking in a childcare setting.
* Experience preparing and adapting meals for dietary requirements, allergies, intolerances, cultural/religious restrictions and specialised medical diets.
