We deliver a wide range of solar, engineering, and electrical distribution services to the electrical utility industry, with a focus on high-voltage systems and large-scale renewable energy projects.
The Opportunity
As we continue to achieve strong growth, we're looking for an experienced and motivated finance professional to join our team full-time. This role is responsible for month-end, reporting, statutory obligations, improving financial controls & processes and other general accounting functions that keep our business running smoothly.
Working closely with our Directors and team members across the Accounts, Admin and Project Departments, you'll play a key role in our financial operations, maintaining accuracy, timeliness of data and supporting the company's ongoing growth in the renewable energy sector.
This role suits a team player who enjoys variety, problem-solving, process improvement and takes ownership of their work. Experience and the ability to hit-the-ground running is what matters most, though a degree in business, commerce or accounting is desirable.

Key Responsibilities
· Ensuring appropriate month-end processes and financial controls in place, including balance sheet reconciliations
· Timely completion of month-end tasks and accounting adjustments
· Monthly reporting and financial analysis
· Assisting with budgeting and financial analysis for management
· Preparing BAS, payroll tax, LSL contributions and superannuation submissions
· Identifying and implementing process changes in collaboration with the Directors
· Overseeing weekly payroll in Xero, including allowances, superannuation, & leave – and ensure payroll compliance and the maintenance of employee records
· Maintaining project costings
· Overseeing the completeness and timeliness of customer invoices and claims to support revenue recognition
· Monitoring project progress and collaborate with internal teams to validate billing against contract terms
· Oversee credit management and implement strategies to optimise cash flow
· Ensure accurate maintenance of customer records and assist with credit application processes to minimise financial risk

What You'll Bring
· Proven experience in financial accounting, management reporting, payroll and statutory obligations
· Strong knowledge of Xero (or similar accounting software)
· Degree in business, commerce or accounting (preferred but not required)
· Excellent attention to detail and time management
· Ability to work independently and prioritise competing tasks
· Confident communication skills and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
