Three Blue Ducks at The Farm Byron Bay is set on an 80-acre farm and Macadamia Orchard with views of both the hinterland and Byron's iconic lighthouse.

The Ducks do what we can to implement ethical and sustainable business practices on all levels. We work with honest, local suppliers we like who have the best quality produce.

We are looking for a motivated, casual Bar Supervisor to be a vital member of Three Blue Ducks at The Farm, Byron Bay.

As a Bar Supervisor, you will supervise the bar service to offer a high quality, efficient beverage service that adds to a superior Guest experience, and assist in the planning and preparation for the day to day running of the bar as well as ensuring smooth service for various functions and events.

You will play an integral role within our beverage team and lead with a "hands-on" approach. Managing the day-to-day operation, rostering, training, and ordering stock.

This is a great opportunity for a customer driven, sales focused and experienced person to join our established management team.

The Role is casual, offering Level 3 Pay rates & 30-38 hours per week.

**Key Responsibilities are not limited to**:

- Maintain an effective bar service with an emphasis on high quality, efficient service
- Undertaking general waiting duties such as: taking drink orders, preparing garnishes, cleaning bar areas, cleaning tables and picking up glasses
- Check that Guest service standards are set, implemented and monitored, and continuously evaluated
- Comply with licensing regulations and restaurant procedures relating to the bar and service of alcoholic beverages and conduct staff training sessions accordingly
- Ensure all Team Members are well presented and adhere to the correct uniform standards
- Support VM in ordering, curation of wine list, tap beer rotation and cocktail menu
- Work closely with the Venue Manager other Team Members

**About You**:

- Similar leadership experience in a bar operation
- Solid knowledge (or enthusiasm) in wine, beer & spirits
- "Can Do" Attitude - be unafraid of taking initiative
- Ensuring quality of customer service is delivered by all staff
- Assisting with the training and development of staff
- Providing support when needed to front-line staff.
- Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and thrive in a busy venue
- Assisting with opening and closing of the venue
