Job Title: Architectural Specification Specialist
This role is responsible for driving the lead generation process as part of the pipeline.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the lead generation and specification processes, experience in the architectural, construction and/or design industry, along with reasonable knowledge of façade products.
A key responsibility of this role is to educate architects on Fairview product offerings, confirm scope and colour requirements, get Fairview products specified and record relevant information.
An impeccable eye for detail and organisation skills coupled with expertise in solution selling in a competitive market will make this person successful in this role.
* Opportunity Pipeline - educating architects on product offerings, confirming scope and colour requirements, getting Fairview products specified and recording relevant information.
* Architect Contact - maintaining and developing relationships with key architects within their territory, using a key account plan to establish and participate in the sales pipeline as required.
* Information - gathering information on projects, architects, builders, competitors and the market and reporting it back through relevant systems for analysis and action.
* Education - providing good technical knowledge of our products and using this knowledge to make recommendations and educate architects as part of the sales process.
Key Requirements:
This role requires excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) with high attention to detail, ability to multitask, prioritise and manage time effectively, results focused following through to get the end result every time, proven sales experience and well presented and of good standing.
Desirable qualifications include knowledge of or experience in the Fairview range of products, knowledge of or experience in the construction industry, track record of exceeding targets and experience with business software such as Salesforce, Netsuite, Smartsheet, Cordell and Microsoft Office Suite.
