Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced carpenter to join our team. As a skilled craftsman, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, renovating and repairing structures made of wood and other materials.
1. Main Responsibilities:
* Cut, assemble and install required materials on site
* Erect timber framework, roof framing, install subfloors and verify the trueness of structures
* Nailing fascia panels, fitting exterior wall cladding and door and window frames
* Assembling cut wood to form structures and fittings ready to install
* Measuring and installing skirting, architraves and sills
* Repair existing fittings
2. Requirements:
* You must have a good knowledge of all aspects of carpentry
* Be well presented, punctual, with good communication skills
* Be able to work in team environments and on your own when required
* A steady, long term work on local projects is available for the right applicant
