Wilderness School is a non-denominational day and boarding girl's school educating students from Early Learning Centre through to Year 12. About the Role
The School is seeking passionate Sports Coaches and Supervisors to join the School's co-curricular summer sporting program commencing in Term 4, 2025.
Coaches provide quality mentoring and coaching to enhance and develop our students' technical skills and game knowledge in order to reach their individual potential both as athletes and young people.
We are inviting expressions of interest from experienced and qualified coaches for the following sports:
• Water Polo
• Touch Football
• Basketball
• Cricket
• Volleyball
• Tennis

Supervisors provide pastoral care to our sporting teams by providing first aid treatment, reporting any injuries / incidents, and overseeing behaviour of students. Supervisors do not need to be sportspersons.
About You
Coaches will have
* Level 1 coaching accreditation (desirable).
* Previous coaching experience, preferably with school aged students.
* Strong knowledge of skills, technique and drills in relevant sport.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to relate effectively and professionally to parents, students and staff.
* Proven capacity to operate in a collaborative, professional, confident, and confidential manner.
* Evidence of ethical behaviour.
Supervisors will have

All staff must have a current Working with Children Check, ability to provide First Aid to students, coaches or parents, if required. A current Provide First Aid qualification is required, responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect – Education Care (RRHAN-EC) training and Protective Practices Certificate
